Acceptable Loss Ratio

Thirty-first Sunday in Ordinary Time. In business and in war, the term "acceptable loss ratio" is often used. We might even have an acceptable loss ratio in our own lives when it comes to money or personal belongings. But God does not have an acceptable loss ratio -- every single one of us is precious to Him. Preached at St. Paul the Apostle Church, New York City on 10-30-16.
