Thursday of the Twenty-ninth Week in Ordinary Time. We are reminded in the readings today that indeed we are all sinners, and that "the wages of sin is death." However, there is a silver lining to what seems like this darkest cloud: God in his goodness, promises us an immeasurable bonus of the gift of eternal life.
