Thursday of the Third Week in Ordinary Time. Father Dave discusses today's Gospel in which Jesus tells us not to hide our light under a bushel basket. He points out that in the time of Jesus, people used oil lamps. Putting an oil lamp under a bushel basket would cause it to catch fire.
